Again I had to get over a generalization about a type of grape. Not all Rieslings are like cool aid. Somewhere along the way I was given the impression that Rieslings are wine for people who don’t like wine. Not so. This wine was great and had a lot to offer. It was light and fruity with a little lemon. It really hit the front of the tongue with a bubbly apple and was perfectly balanced and smooth. Also it was sweet, but not sugary sweet. It complimented the greens on the other end of the spectrum. It was a lighter sweet flavor that brought out the saltiness of the greens. This was definitely my favorite white wine of the evening!
