White Oak Chardonnay – The Wine Virgin

This Chardonnay was also paired with the apple vinaigrette salad. The more I taste white wines, the more I have to abandon my assumptions about them. This Chard was light but had a great crisp apple taste. That apple flavor popped so much that it felt bubbly on your tongue. The acidity was just right and still left a nice warm finish. Pairing this with fresh apples was delightful. A nicely balanced Chardonnay that I could see working with most meals – seafood, pasta, salad, etc.
