Rosé: It’s NOT White Zinfandel

Rosé

The heat is on and the rosé is chilled. We’ve found a showcase of rosé from around the world that is dry, crisp, refreshing and exactly what a rosé should be. Our hope is you’ll discover the joys of the rosé wine we cherish instead of the pink wines bastardized under the label of white zinfandel and white merlot by California in the past. Come sip, savor and nibble as we revel in the chilled complexities of mild strawberries, light raspberries, tart cranberries, and bright acids dancing across the palate and tempting you to dare fall in love with what once was a forbidden drink- the pink wine!

Southern Rhone, France, New Mexico, Oregon showcase their wares from the grapes of Gamay, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, and other grapes in the style of rosé. It will be our pleasure to host you the evening of August 01, 2012 at 5:30 to tour these wonderful wines in our shop for a private tasting. Please call us at 828-414-9111 to secure a reservation as available seating is very limited!
